Steve Bannon:
Bensman, the great Johnson Swan over at Axios broke this. The Biden Administration knows there's a mass migration event is going to take place as soon as Title 42 if comes off, which is the restrictions about the COVID virus. Now, there's 60 to 80 million people and Cortes I’ll get to you in a second, 60 million people on Mainland China, in Shenzhen, which is their Silicon Valley, that are in lockdown.
Okay, because they get a new strain of the CCP virus running around there because they don't lock them down for no reason. They want them to work. They want to lock them down in a factory. They got him locked down there now. But the thinking because of the pressure the pressure is not your health the pressure is they get so many illegal aliens they want to get across the border. Todd Bensman, just walk me through the math. What can we expect? You're the guy, you're the man, what are your expectations? What will happen when Title 42 is taken off on the southern border of the United States of America, sir?
Todd Bensman:
Well, first of all, if they do take it down which its renewable every 60 days and April 1st is the next renewal. I think the Biden Administration is really clinging to this thing because it's in big big trouble if it goes away or when it goes away but it has to go away. It's a temporary measure. You can't keep this forever. We already are having about 160 thousand a month. We just had 160 thousand for February. The Axios story talked about intelligence officials thinking there's another hundred and seventy thousand that would crash over the Border I'm presuming in addition to the one regular monthly 160.
So, we're looking at about 320 to 300 plus thousand right there, which would be monumental. I mean nothing like that has ever happened. I think we had 219,000 one time. So, this would be far beyond that. There's a 70,000 pack of migrants that are trapped down there in Tap Achua, Mexico right on the Guatemala border. We've talked about that, that the Mexicans are holding them down there behind this bureaucratic wall, but it's their rioting every single day, demonstrating. They're going to have to let them go. So that could be another 70,000 that could suddenly unleash. They’re coming one way or another whether Title 42 is in or out. And then they're talking about 25 or 30,000 that are already pulled up on the Mexican side, but I think that all of this is kind undercount.
I think that when Title 42 goes away, that the entire world is just going to come rushing through. There are 140 150 countries that are paying very close attention to Title 42. It's the one membrane the last speed bump that the Biden Administration has really to slow things down a little bit. So that's, I mean we could potentially see 350 to 400 thousand in a really quick flood. The question is, will it maintain at those kind of rates for months on end?
April May June those are historically high months anyway. Like the constellation of planets right now the lot the alignment is just terrible for the border. It couldn't be worse for the border right now with that, I'm going to guess that the Biden people will try their best to delay it for another two months just to get past this April. Maybe they'll claim the Chinese, you know that the lockdown we’re still at risk. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it another two months but eventually, they’re going to get rid of it.
Steve Bannon:
But they're under a lot of pressure from these immigration groups to take it off because they want this flood. I want you to give one of the statistics or percentage that are coming across that are from Central America and Mexico because people think that's where all the problem is. That's just not the problem anymore. What percentage are just from Central America or Mexico, sir?
Todd Bensman:
Yeah. Now that's going to be about 60 percent, but the percentage from other than Mexico and other than Central America is at a historic high. We've never seen anything a 40% that's going to be people from all over the world. Everybody's paying attention to this open border. Everybody sees it as an opportunity to get in.
Steve Bannon:
Let me just make sure we're not demonizing these people, all that Cortes and I have said they are actually making rational decisions. And if you and I are in the same place we’d be making the same rational decisions, let's make a break for the border. These guys are inviting us in, right? They're not securing their border. And on the other side we've got, we've got Nirvana. Why wouldn't you? The way its set up now, you're kind of an idiot if you don’t try. You got a shot. When Trump gets back and the Republicans take over Congress more of the hardliners, my shot is over. I got to go now. And here's what the actual said, Bensman back me up here. They're sending memos out to the, they’re not bringing the army or the National Guard. They're sending memos out to people in the federal government that speak Spanish. Can you please volunteer and will send you down to the border to assist? Right?
Todd Bensman:
Well, there's some irony here that they're putting together something called the Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan. Only now as if we don't have a mass migration of historic proportions at this point. They're putting together a war room. I guess it's the good war room, but they're putting together this war room to handle this, you know, some kind of a mass migration crisis, only now, so, you know, I don't know what that says about how they view what's been happening at the border.
Steve Bannon:
It's performative. Okay, Bensman how do people get to you on your social media because on this and particularly to the website to CIS to your writings, the book all that so people get to you.
Todd Bensman:
That's right. Well, first of all, it's TBensman@GETTR. Got a great account going there. And if you want to see my writing, CIS.org. And the Center for Immigration Studies is also on GETTR, newly on GETTR and they need members, followers and what not. And then I'm at Todd Bensman.com you can sign up for my newsletter and that sort of thing.
Steve Bannon:
Okay, I will give you signal not noise. This is, I think the besides the financial collapse of America this is the biggest and most important story out there. So, we're going to get ahead of it. Todd Bensman thank you for the work and look forward to having you back on here with more analysis.
Before I go to the great Miranda Divine from the New York Post, Cortes any assessment analysis of this catastrophic destruction of and by the way every Hispanic in the Rio Grande Valley, and in Southern Arizona, South, Texas, okay? Don't listen to me. Don't listen to Cortes, do not come to War Room. Don't waste your time. Watch MSNBC and CNN all day long and tell me how any of that impacts your life against the reality of what's happening in your destruction, Steve Cortes.
Steve Cortes:
Right. And the Hispanic. I'll give you data on this in a second but the Hispanics in Texas, of course, know better. Many of them have friends or relatives who work in Customs and Border Patrol, for example, the most Hispanic agency of the US federal government, but you're so right, Steve.
I think for 2022, the two eyes, what I’ve been saying, inflation and immigration and they are conjoined in some way. Those are going to dominate the policy agenda for this year. You're also right that people respond to incentives. And these economic migrants most of whom are young men are making a very rational choice. They know, number one, that the border is not guarded and another aspect that I'd like to add. They also know that once they're in the interior of the United States that ICE has been completely neutered.
Deportations from the United States are down 70%, so far this year versus 2020 I mean in 2021, excuse me versus 2020 for the entire United States. So not only do they know you get past the gate but once you're past the gate there's almost no chance that you're going to be expelled. But regarding Hispanics in Texas, I do want to quickly give a poll number. This is from Civics Polling, when Joe Biden, took office in January of 2021 he actually had enormous goodwill among Hispanics. His favorable unfavorable ratio Texas, Hispanics, was plus 30% in his favor. He began with enormous could.
Well, right now, 14 months later according to Civics, polling, it is minus 7, he's at only 39 percent approve. 46 percent, disapprove among Texas Hispanics. A monumental 37 percentage point decrease, a meltdown really, I should call it, not just a decrease meltdown among Texas Hispanics. And I think the two reasons are the two eyes inflation and immigration.
